This simple Easter craft is really inexpensive and you can make it for around $5.
I love using things that I already have around the house to make something new. And a little refresh in early spring is always welcome!
So, I decided to create this cute little bunny printable, and you can get it right here in my King Gap Creatives Shop.
You Only Need A Few Supplies For This Craft
All you need to make this bunny canvas artboard is some black acrylic paint, a canvas artboard (I got a big pack from Amazon, but you can get these at the Dollar Tree or Five Below), Mod Podge, foam brushes and the bunny print.
You could even use another type of paint brush if you don't have a foam one. This is just what I used.
The steps for making this project are listed below, you can watch the video right here.
Steps For Making Your Bunny Board
- Paint the artboard black, including the edges, but not the back side. (Unless you just want to paint both sides.)
- While that dries, cut around the edges of the bunny print.
- Brush a thin coat of Mod Podge onto the back side of the bunny print.
- Center the bunny onto the painted art board, stick it down and smooth out any places that are bubbling up.
- Use a clean foam brush to paint Mod Podge over the entire surface of the art board, making sure to get around the edges of the bunny really well. (So that it doesn't come loose around the edges.)
- Let it dry, and you're done!
As An Optional Final Step You Could Go Around The Edges With A Metallic Paint Pen
I did one with the pen and one without, and I think I actually like the one without better. This just comes down to what you like, so either way is fine!
Hope you get a chance to do this craft of something else that helps you relax and get creative!
